Tips for Solving Board PYQs

For clock minute hand problems, angle swept in $t$ minutes is θ = (t / 60) × 360° = 6t°.

Segment Area = Sector Area - Triangle Area. For 60° central angle, triangle is equilateral with area (√3 / 4) r².

Pay close attention to whether the question specifies π = 22/7 or π = 3.14.
